A backup isn't finished until it's been proven.
Encrypted and uploaded
The dump is made with the PostgreSQL version matching your server and encrypted as it streams, with a random key for each backup.
Integrity verified
The stored copy is downloaded again, checksummed, fully decrypted and read end to end before it's marked verified.
Restore test passed
The newest verified backup of each database is restored into a sealed sandbox, compared object by object, then deleted.
Everything a recovery depends on. Nothing it doesn't.
Encryption by default
A unique 256-bit key per backup. Turn on own-key mode and nobody else can read your backups, including us.
Verification after upload
An upload that "succeeded" can still be damaged. Every stored copy is checked before it counts.
Daily restore tests
A real restore in an isolated sandbox with no network and no privileges, every day, per database.
Monitoring & alerts
One clear health state per database. Failures arrive by email in plain language, with detail one click away.
Independent recovery
Download a standard PostgreSQL dump, or decrypt offline with your recovery kit. No connection to us needed.
One-click restore
Restore into the original or a staging database in one transaction. It completes fully or changes nothing.
Your keys. Your data. Your way out.
- Own-key mode. Backup keys are protected by a passphrase only you know. It's used briefly during a restore and never stored.
- No lock-in. Any backup downloads as a standard PostgreSQL dump you can restore with pg_restore.
- Isolated testing. Restore tests run with no network access and no privileges, and are deleted right after.
